Our client is a well-established main dealership in Shrewsbury and they are looking for an experienced MOT Tester & Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. Key Responsibilities:
Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations and standards.
Undertake servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of vehicles to the highest standard.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and accurately.
Complete all work in line with manufacturer repair times and company procedures.
Accurately record vehicle health checks, diagnostics, completed work, and parts used.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Liaise professionally with colleagues, Service Advisors, and customers when required.
Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and on time.Minimum Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Current and valid MOT Tester licence (Class 4).
At least 2 years' post-qualification experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or similar workshop environment.
Strong diagnostic and technical skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
