1:1 Teaching Assistant (Primary)

Location: Wolverhampton

We are a specialist education supply agency currently recruiting towards a dedicated 1:1 teaching assistant to work at one of our partner schools in WV10.

The role is for an indiviual who is passionate about making a difference, and providing tailored support to a child who requires additional help to access learning.

The Role:

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide individual support to a pupil with additional needs (SEND, SEMH, ASD or learning difficulties)
Support learning both inside and outside the classroom
Implement strategies set by the class teacher and SENCo
Help promote positive behaviour, engagement and emotional wellbeing
Build a strong, supportive relationship with the pupil
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children in a primary setting (essential)
Experience supporting students with additional needs (essential)
A patient, caring and resilient role
Ability to adapt to different school environments
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
