Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only), 08:30 - 15:30
Start Date: September 1st 2026

Long Term Futures are recruiting for a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school. This rewarding role involves providing dedicated 1:1 support for one or two pupils with SEN and EHCPs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their individual goals within the classroom.
Responsibilities:
Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with SEN and EHCPs.
Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs and encourage participation.
Promote positive behaviour, independence, and engagement throughout the school day.
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider school staff to deliver effective support.
Monitor pupil progress and contribute to implementing support strategies.What We're Looking For:
A minimum Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in a primary school setting.
Additional SEN-related training or qualifications would be highly advantageous.
