The Role
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you'll play a vital role in the repair process by accurately assessing vehicle damage, producing repair estimates and ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
·Inspecting damaged vehicles and preparing accurate repair estimates.
·Identifying repair methods in line with manufacturer guidelines.
·Liaising with technicians to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
·Communicating with customers and insurers throughout the repair process.
·Managing supplementary estimates where additional repairs are identified.
·Monitoring repair progress to ensure agreed timescales are achieved.
·Maintaining accurate documentation and estimating records.
·Delivering outstanding customer service from estimate through to vehicle handover.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator / VDA with excellent technical knowledge and strong customer service skills.
You'll ideally have:
·Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator within an accident repair centre or Bodyshop.
·Hold an ATA / IMI accreditation in Vehicle Damage Assessment and proficient in estimating systems such as Audatex / GT Global.
·Excellent knowledge of modern vehicle repair methods and estimating procedures.
·Strong communication and customer service skills.
·The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple repairs simultaneously.
·High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
·A full UK driving licence.
