As part of their continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

The Role

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

Managing the commercial delivery of construction projects from contract award through to final account

Preparing and submitting valuations, applications for payment, variations, and final accounts

Procuring and managing subcontractor packages

Producing accurate CVRs, cost forecasts, and commercial reports

Monitoring project costs to maximise profitability and commercial performance

Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities

Administering contracts and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations

Working closely with Project Managers and site teams to ensure successful project delivery

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers

Supporting the Commercial Manager with reporting and strategic commercial decisions

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will have:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor within a Main Contractor environment

Experience delivering projects across sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, industrial, residential, or public sector developments

Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts

Excellent commercial awareness and contractual knowledge

Experience managing projects through the full commercial lifecycle

Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills

Excellent communication and organisational abilities

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

Membership of RICS or working towards chartered status would be advantageous
