We're looking for a Personal Finance Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career within a transactional finance environment, gaining valuable experience in account reconciliation, customer communication, and payment management.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Personal Finance Administrator, you'll play a key role in ensuring payments are received accurately and on time while providing first-class support to customers and colleagues. Responsibilities include:
Responding to telephone, email, and postal queries within agreed timescales.
Reconciling invoicing and payment queries using Excel and internal systems.
Contacting customers by phone and email to support timely payment collection.
Building strong customer relationships and resolving payment and charge queries. ]
Managing your own workload to meet departmental KPIs and deadlines.
Working closely with internal teams to ensure invoices are raised and payments allocated accurately.
Investigating and resolving outstanding account queries.
Escalating overdue accounts where appropriate.
Reviewing and reconciling customer accounts, including unallocated payments.What We're Looking For
Essential
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes.
A proactive approach to meeting deadlines and targets.
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.Desirable
Previous experience in credit control, collections, accounts receivable, or customer service.
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Experience using Microsoft Office. [
