Food Technology Teacher

Simply Education is working with a secondary school in Northampton that are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Food Technology Teacher to lead and deliver lessons across a range of year groups.

The Role:

Deliver practical and theory lessons on food and nutrition.
Demonstrate tools and techniques including knife skills and live cooking.
Supervise kitchen safety during practical sessions.
Maintain equipment by inspecting machinery and managing ingredient stock.
Prepare students for subject examinations like GCSEs and A-Levels.We're looking for:

Eligibility to work in the UK.
QTS/PGCE qualified.
Enthusiasm, friendliness and approachability.
Understanding of the secondary aged food technology curriculum and pastoral needs.
Ability in delivering lessons and feedback.
Confidence in behaviour management skills.
