Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded organisation in the search for an experienced HR Assistant to join their team on a Permanent basis.
Our client operates within a professional and regulated environment and is seeking a highly organised and details-oriented HR Assistant to provide a high-quality administrative service for the HR team.
The role is based in Southampton offers a salary of circa £30K. It is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in the office. There will also be ad-hoc travel to London, but this would be minimal.
What you’ll do:
Provide day-to-day administrative support across HR, keeping employee records accurate and up to date.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with care and professionalism.
Support and coordinate the trainee qualification process.
Assist the Learning & Development team with administrative tasks.
Help ensure a smooth and compliant experience across the employee lifecycle.
Act as the go-to person for the HR system (HRIS), supporting users and maintaining data.
Respond to general HR queries in a timely and helpful way.
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in an HR Administration or HR Assistant role with a particular focus on data management.
Experience within a professional service, legal or regulated environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience using an HR database, with strong Excel skills, is essential.
This role will suit someone who:
Enjoys being the “go-to” person for HR administration.
Is confident working in a fast-paced, professional environment.
