Part Time Finance Officer – Permanent – Ormskirk - 24-32 hours per week - £19 per hour
Forrest Recruitment are seeking a well organised, experienced and proactive Finance Officer to join our £10 million turnover client based in Ormskirk on a part time basis. Due to continued expansion, this successful and well-established family run organisation are currently looking for an experienced Finance Officer/Management Accountant. Working closely alongside the Finance Manager, this is a hands-on role and includes:
* Preparing monthly management accounts
* Supporting with Year End reporting
* Completing balance sheet reconciliations
* Preparing annual budgets and cash flow forecasts
* Managing job costing processes
* Monitoring Work in Progress
* Overseeing the Purchase Order system
* Analysing actual V budget performance and identifying key variances
* Maintaining the fixed asset register
* Adhering to robust and internal controls and financial procedures
Benefits:

Hours:
Our client will accommodate a 3 or 4 day working week
The ideal candidate will have a strong operational accounts background with a sound understanding of financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting and cost control. Previous experience of job costing/WIP within the construction/manufacturing sector is essential for this role, along with advanced Excel proficiency.
