This role leads a small manufacturing operation, overseeing production, planning, product development, quality, food safety, logistics, and continuous improvement to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

An established food manufacturing business focused on producing high-quality products for multiple sales channels, including retail, wholesale, franchise, and foodservice customers. The company prioritises operational excellence, product innovation, food safety, and continuous improvement to deliver sustainable growth and exceptional customer service.
Description
· Lead the Manufacturing Division and develop a high-performing team.
· Manage production planning, capacity and operational performance.
· Drive product development, innovation and recipe standardisation.
· Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, allergens, labelling and regulatory requirements.
· Prepare the business for EHO, customer and BRCGS audits.
· Manage suppliers, inventory and production planning.
· Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse and Logistics to deliver excellent customer service.
· Drive cost reduction, labour productivity and waste improvement.
· Develop KPIs, budgets and management reporting.
· Promote Health & Safety and continuous improvement.
Profile
A successful Production Manager should have:
Proven expertise in product management within manufacturing within the FMCG industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Solid understanding of production processes and operational efficiency.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance regulations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.Job Offer
