Due to an internal promotion, we are recruiting an Operations Manager to join a well-established chemical manufacturing business based near Deeside.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll take responsibility for the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the plant, leading production, engineering coordination, and operational performance to ensure output, quality, and safety targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the safe day-to-day operation of the manufacturing site
• Drive production performance and delivery against plan
• Manage and develop production teams
• Coordinate engineering and maintenance activities to maximise plant reliability
• Monitor plant performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure high standards of health, safety, quality, and housekeeping
• Work closely with technical and commercial teams to support customer requirements

About You

• Proven leadership experience within chemical manufacturing
• Strong understanding of plant operations and production performance
• Experience managing people, processes, and operational KPIs
• A hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills
• Able to make decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• NEBOSH or similar HSE qualification would be advantageous
