Project Coordinator – Bedford
£30-35,000 + Benefits
Full-Time | Office-Based with Occasional Site Visits
Looking to develop a career in Project Management?
Join a growing £20m specialist manufacturer and subcontractor delivering secure door and access solutions to government and public-sector projects. Full training is provided, along with a clear progression route to Project Manager.
You'll join a supportive team of Project Coordinators, working closely with Sales, CAD and Production to ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time and to customer requirements.
The Role
* Coordinate projects from order handover through to completion
* Support the CAD team in producing manufacturing drawings and schedules
* Maintain project programmes and customer updates
* Ensure drawings, documentation and project records are accurate and up to date
* Manage project information on customer portals including 4Projects and Aconex
* Attend customer meetings and coordinate follow-up actions
* Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal departments
* Produce project reports and ensure contractual requirements are met
* Support Accounts with resolving payment queries when required
Skills & Experience
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
* Proactive and team-focused approach
* Construction, engineering or manufacturing experience would be beneficial but is not essential
