Manager Salary - £42,000 - £48,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced healthcare or therapeutic professional to head up and coordinate a multidisciplinary clinical team within a specialist education environment.

Role Responsibilities

Provide robust operational leadership and direct line management to an integrated team of speech, occupational, behavioural, and mental health specialists.

Oversee professional development pathways, performance appraisals, and structured clinical supervision frameworks across the department.

Establish rigorous clinical governance, risk assessment strategies, and regulatory compliance parameters.

Partner closely with academic leaders to embed therapeutic strategies directly into individual student learning plans.

Coordinate directly with external health networks, social services, and families to manage referrals and holistic care packages.

Essential Requirements

Recognised professional qualification and current UK registration within nursing, therapy, social work, or behaviour analysis (e.g., HCPC, NMC, UKSBA, SWE).

Master's degree or equivalent Level 7 qualification in a relevant clinical or therapeutic field.

Substantial post-registration experience supporting young people with autism, learning disabilities, and diverse communication needs.

Proven history of supervising or leading a multidisciplinary clinical team, ideally within a collaborative or educational setting.

Comprehensive working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, safeguarding protocols, and person-centred care frameworks.

Outstanding interpersonal capabilities with the ability to resolve conflict and communicate complex information clearly. Desired but not essential: Possession of a formal qualification in leadership or management.
