A leading and rapidly growing independent wealth management business is seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join its established Midlands advisory team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a client-focused Financial Planner who wants to spend time delivering high-quality financial planning and building meaningful client relationships.

The business has built a strong reputation for delivering holistic advice, helping clients navigate every stage of their financial journey. With significant investment in support infrastructure, paraplanning, compliance and client servicing, all advisers are enabled to focus on what they do best, providing exceptional financial planning advice.

You'll be joining a highly respected name that combines the resources, stability and opportunities of a large national wealth management group with their culture, flexibility and client-centric approach within a regional, local independent practice.

The Opportunity

As a Financial Planner, you will inherit and develop an existing portfolio of clients whilst also working with new enquiries being generated. Provide comprehensive advice across pensions, investments, retirement planning, protection, estate planning and varied wealth strategies.

The role offers an excellent balance between servicing existing relationships and developing new in-house opportunities, allowing you to focus on delivering long-term value to clients rather than operating in a heavily sales-driven environment.

Why This Role Stands Out

Established Client Relationships

You'll work with an existing client base from an existing senior planner handover, allowing you to focus on advice delivery and relationship management whilst still identifying new advice areas.

Strong Support Structure

Dedicated paraplanning, administration and compliance support enables advisers to maximise client-facing time and focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.

Quality Over Quantity

The business promotes a true financial planning approach, placing client outcomes at the heart of every recommendation, rather than focusing on or transactional advice.

Growing National Presence

As part of a highly successful and expanding wealth management group, advisers benefit from long-term stability, ongoing investment and clear opportunities for career progression.

Professional Development

The organisation actively supports adviser development, professional qualifications and continuous improvement, making it an excellent environment for ambitious planners looking to further their careers.

Collaborative Culture

You'll join a supportive and professional team where knowledge sharing, collaboration and client-first thinking are genuinely valued.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct annual review meetings and ongoing client servicing activities

* Build and maintain long-term trusted relationships with clients

* Gather and analyse client information to identify planning needs and objectives

Deliver holistic advice across:

* Retirement Planning, Pensions, Investments, Protection, Estate Planning, Wealth Preservation.

* Produce clear and suitable recommendations tailored to individual client circumstancs.

* Work closely with paraplanning and support teams to deliver an outstanding client experience.

* Maintain FCA competency standards and professional qualifications.

* Keep abreast of technical, legislative and regulatory developments.

* Ensure all advice is delivered in a compliant and professional manner.

About You

* Current and existing experience as a Financial Planner/Independent Financial Adviser

* CAS & SPS

* Strong technical knowledge across pensions and investments

* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills

* Experience delivering holistic financial planning advice

* A professional, ethical and client-centric approach

* Evidence of track record to date

* Diploma qualified, willingness to study towards Chartered status

Package & Benefits

Basic salary up to £75,000 - Performance related bonus schemes - Existing, senior client relationships to inherit - Pension scheme - Generous annual leave - Life assurance - Income protection - Employee Assistance Program - Financial wellbeing support - Ongoing professional development - Long-term, senior career progression opportunities - Flexible working arrangements.
