Are you a graduate considering a career in teaching? Or are you looking to gain valuable classroom experience before starting your PGCE or teacher training?

At , we are recruiting confident, adaptable and enthusiastic teaching assistants to work within SEND schools Schools across Birmingham from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers or individuals with transferable experience who are looking to build classroom confidence and gain hands-on school experience.

The role of a teachin assistant includes:

Supporting the class teacher and supporting the students in the classroom
Managing classroom behaviour and keeping students on task
Supporting SEND pupils within a classroom setting
Working across a variety of subjects and year groups
Creating a positive and professional learning environment
What we are looking for:

Graduates or aspiring teachers
Strong communication and confidence working with young people
Experience working with children or young people is desirable
Positive, proactive and adaptable individuals
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
This role is ideal for:

Graduates looking to gain classroom experience
Individuals considering teacher training or a PGCE
Future teachers wanting to build behaviour management skills
Candidates looking for flexible work within schools
