What You'll Be Doing
* Operate manual lathes and milling machines to produce precision components
* Machine parts to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
* Read and work from engineering drawings
* Carry out basic inspection using measuring equipment
* Ensure components meet specification before release
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience operating manual lathes and mills
* Ability to machine components to tight tolerances
* Confident reading engineering drawings and specifications
* Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometers
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
* Experience within a precision engineering or machine shop environment
