A school based in Newham are looking for a part time KS2 PPA Teacher to start in September 2026. This is a long-term position and school need someone who is able to commit on an ongoing basis.

* Training opportunities available on inset days
Job Responsibilities
* Work for 2 days -flexible with days
* Deliver lessons in accordance with the KS2 curriculum
* Manage support staff in class
* Work with Year group leaders to support group work and positive learning outcomes
* Deliver lessons as planned and directed by the class teachers
* Leave detailed feedback for teachers
* Mark the work as required
Preferred Skills:
* Hold a teaching qualification with QTS (this role would not be suited to an ECT as the school are not able to provide a mentor/support)
* Have experience of teaching children in KS2 previously
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Have good understanding of Primary school learning, outcomes and recording observations
* Hold a valid DBS or apply for one
