Salary: £14.25 per hour
Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant with experience supporting pupils with ALN?
Are you confident providing 1:1 support and assisting with personal care where required?
Do you have a patient, caring approach and a passion for helping children reach their full potential?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Cardiff to recruit a Learning Support Assistant. The school promotes an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their full potential, with a strong focus on supporting children with additional learning needs.
The school is looking to appoint a part-time Learning Support Assistant from September on a long-term basis. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work within the Foundation Phase, providing 1:1 support for pupils with ALN, assisting with personal care where required, and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
• Experience supporting children with ALN within a school setting
• Experience providing 1:1 support
• A willingness to provide personal care where required
• A caring, patient and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their potential
In return for the above you can expect to receive:
