Full-Time
Be the eyes and ears that keep some of London's finest buildings safe.

Not every engineering role is about carrying a toolbox all day.

At Masterfix, we're looking for a reliable, professional engineer to carry out the routine inspections that help keep residential buildings safe, compliant and operating as they should.

Working across a portfolio of prestigious residential developments throughout London, you'll undertake weekly fire alarm tests, AOV inspections, water flushing, emergency lighting checks and general property inspections, identifying issues before they become problems and ensuring our clients remain compliant.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in attention to detail and understands the importance of doing things properly every single time.

You'll be trusted to represent Masterfix on site, building strong relationships with building managers, residents and clients while completing inspections accurately and professionally.

We're looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years' experience within property maintenance, building services or facilities management. Previous experience carrying out fire alarm testing, water hygiene tasks, emergency lighting checks, AOV inspections or general building compliance activities would be highly advantageous, although further training can be provided for the right person.

You'll be responsible for visiting multiple sites each day, carrying out scheduled inspections, recording results electronically, identifying defects, reporting remedial works and ensuring all compliance documentation is completed accurately. You'll also undertake general property inspections, helping identify maintenance issues before they develop into larger problems.

The successful applicant will be organised, dependable and comfortable working with digital job management systems. A professional approach, excellent communication skills and a strong customer service ethic are essential, as you'll be representing one of London's leading property maintenance companies every day.

We offer opportunities on both a self-employed and PAYE basis, depending on your preference. In return, you'll receive a structured workload, ongoing training, support from an experienced operations team and the opportunity to build a long-term career within a growing business.

At Masterfix, we're passionate about delivering exceptional property care. We believe preventative maintenance is just as important as reactive repairs, and this role plays a vital part in helping our clients keep their buildings safe, compliant and well maintained.

If you're looking for a varied role with responsibility, autonomy and the opportunity to work across some of London's most prestigious residential developments, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and become part of a team that's helping keep London's buildings safe, compliant and exceptionally maintained
