Welder
We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our client based in Ivybridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in welding, particularly working with stainless steel, to join a friendly and supportive team environment.
The role is permanent, with a salary starting from £32,000 and open to discussion depending on experience.
Working pattern: 4-day working week available, with the option to work either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday. Working hours are 7am–5pm.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on stainless steel components, ensuring high-quality welds.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals.
Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
Requirements
Previous experience in MIG welding, ideally with a focus on stainless steel.
TIG welding experience would be desirable but is not essential.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Good communication skills.
