Talentmark are currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to join a well-established organisation within the FMCG sector.
Our client is a leading manufacturer, producing high-quality products for major retailers and global consumer brands. The successful candidate will primarily support liquid processing and batch manufacturing operations, while also contributing to wider engineering and automation projects aimed at improving manufacturing performance, quality, and operational efficiency.
Salary: A competitive package based on experience, including car allowance, 23 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, and pension.
Location: The ideal candidate will be located in Warrington or surrounding areas.
Key responsibilities:
Optimising liquid processing and batch manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of hygienic manufacturing systems in line with industry best practice.
Identifying process bottlenecks and implementing effective engineering solutions.
Working closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and HSE teams to deliver operational improvements.
Contributing to automation and process control projects to enhance manufacturing capability.
Your background:
A relevant engineering qualification, ideally in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
Proven experience in hygienic process design, liquid processing, and batch manufacturing.
Experience within the FMCG sector, particularly beverages, personal care, household chemicals, or a similar manufacturing environment.
The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Willingness and ability to travel regularly between sites.
