The Opportunity
An exciting contract opportunity has arisen for a Senior Process Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy supporting a major UK infrastructure programme. This is a chance to play a key role in delivering technically challenging projects with long term impact.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Take ownership of process engineering deliverables across assigned project scopes, ensuring high technical standards
Investigate and resolve complex engineering challenges, developing practical and innovative solutions
Prepare and review key engineering outputs including calculations, reports, and design documentation
Ensure all work aligns with relevant safety legislation, technical standards, and quality requirements
Provide guidance and support to less experienced engineers, promoting best practice across the team
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline
Demonstrable experience delivering process engineering work within regulated industries
Background working on design phases including feasibility, FEED or detailed engineering
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work autonomously
Chartered status achieved or actively progressing towards professional accreditation
