Job Title - Service Engineer
Location - Dublin
Salary - Up to €70,000 depending on experience and skillset
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Security Systems Service Engineer / Technician to join a growing service team supporting customers across Dublin and the surrounding region.
This is an exciting field-based opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving, and working across a variety of commercial environments. You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of electronic security systems while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service calls.
* Diagnose faults and repair Access Control, CCTV, IP CCTV, and Intruder Alarm systems.
* Complete system testing, verification, and basic commissioning where required.
* Support minor installations, upgrades, and system enhancements.
* Accurately complete service reports and technical documentation.
* Build strong relationships with customers through professional communication and high service standards.
* Escalate complex technical issues where necessary.
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health & safety regulations and industry best practice.
* Participate in a rotational on-call service for emergency support when required.
What We're Looking For
* 1-3 years' experience within the electronic security industry.
* Hands-on experience with:
* Access Control Systems
* CCTV / IP CCTV
* Intruder Detection Systems
* Previous experience in service, maintenance, installation, or commissioning.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* Basic understanding of IP networking.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Competent using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
* Full clean Irish driving licence
