Job title: Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Location: Sheffield
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy based in Sheffield. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality geotechnical and geoenvironmental services, the company works across a broad range of residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects throughout the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced consultant looking to take on greater responsibility, manage a diverse portfolio of projects and play a key role in the continued growth of the geoenvironmental team.
The Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant role will involve:
Managing contaminated land and geoenvironmental projects from inception through to completion.
Designing, supervising and managing Phase I and Phase II ground investigations.
Producing and reviewing factual, interpretative and geoenvironmental reports.
Completing contaminated land risk assessments and remediation strategies.
Liaising with clients, regulators, contractors and the wider design team.
Managing project budgets, programmes and commercial performance.
Providing technical guidance and mentoring junior staff.
Supporting business development and maintaining strong client relationships.The successful Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant will have:
A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering Geology or a related discipline.
Extensive UK consultancy experience within geoenvironmental engineering or contaminated land.
A strong understanding of current contaminated land guidance and legislation.
Experience managing ground investigations and delivering technical reports.
Excellent communication, report writing and project management skills.
A full UK driving licence.Benefits:
