We are recruiting for a Service Manager in Stoke, Staffordshire, on behalf of a reputable main dealer. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled motor trade professional to lead a busy aftersales department, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction, workshop efficiency, and departmental profitability.

Monday to Friday working pattern
Rotational Saturdays as per dealership rotaDuties of a Service Manager:

Lead and manage the aftersales department, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
Oversee daily workshop operations, optimising efficiency and productivity
Develop and mentor Service Advisors, Technicians, and support staff as a Service Manager
Monitor customer feedback, including manufacturer CSI scores, and implement improvements
Ensure manufacturer compliance and adherence to relevant standards
Drive departmental profitability by controlling costs and maximising workshop labour utilisation
Implement initiatives to enhance the customer experience and promote customer loyalty
Manage financial performance against targets and KPIsRequirements of a Service Manager:

Proven experience in automotive aftersales management within a main dealer environment
Strong leadership and team development skills
Commercial awareness with a solid understanding of financial metrics
Experience managing workshop performance and customer satisfaction
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
