Our client Wirral MBC is looking for an Experienced Social worker to join their Adults safeguarding team.
Leading and coordinating safeguarding enquiries under the Care Act 2014 and triaging new concerns as part of the Duty Rota.
Managing a diverse and complex caseload with autonomy and professional judgement.
Undertaking strengths‑based assessments and developing outcome‑focused support plans.
Completing Mental Capacity Assessments when required.
Undertaking Making Safeguarding Personal Conversations that shape risk planning and outcomes.
Working collaboratively with health partners, police, care providers, and voluntary organisations
Applying legislation, policy, and best practice to protect adults from harm or abuse.
Providing professional advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies.What We're Looking For
Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered).
Strong experience in adult safeguarding or similar statutory adult services.
Excellent analytical, communication, and report‑writing skills.
Confidence in managing risk and making evidence‑based decisions.
