The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
Seeking a patient and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11-18 within a secondary school setting. You will work closely with teachers and the SEND department to provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs and moderate learning difficulties. The role involves supporting pupils to access the curriculum, implementing strategies outlined in EHCPs, promoting independence, encouraging positive behaviour and helping students make academic and personal progress.
