Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Royston
Type: Temp to Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
Hourly Rate: £12.82 per hour (£12.71ph without FLT license due to limited duties)

Our highly-established client based in Royston are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their growing team, on a Temp to Perm basis. They are seeking an enthusiastic candidate who can showcase excellent reliability and attitude.

Duties as a Warehouse Operative:
- Correctly receipt of goods from suppliers, ensuring the correct item and quantity are supplied, going by purchase orders
- Safely store goods in the warehouse, ensuring products are stored accurately in the correct location
- General housekeeping of the warehouse, ensuring the environment is kept clean and tidy, following strict Health and Safety protocols
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Manoeuvring heavy loads in and around the warehouse using a Forklift Truck (if qualified)
- Delivering goods to clients and customers (if qualified)
- Goods in/out, loading and unloading deliveries
- Counting stock to ensure holding is in line with computer records

Requirements as a Warehouse Operative:
- Extensive warehouse & distribution experience
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift license (desirable but not essential)
- Full UK Drivers Licenses (desirable but not essential)
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and as a team
- Reliable and flexible
