Compliance Lead
Winberry is supporting a rapidly growing renewable energy group looking to appoint an experienced Compliance Lead to oversee compliance, accreditation and governance across its expanding portfolio of businesses.
This Compliance Lead role is focused on documentation, regulatory compliance and audit management rather than site inspections. You'll be responsible for managing relationships with accreditation bodies, maintaining compliance systems, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the business remains audit-ready at all times.
This Compliance Manager opportunity would suit someone with experience in compliance, quality assurance or regulatory affairs within construction, electrical, engineering or renewable energy environments.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing relationships with accreditation and certification bodies
Leading external audits, assessments and regulatory inspections
Maintaining compliance policies, procedures and document control
Managing accreditation renewals, submissions and corrective actions
Developing and improving compliance processes across multiple businesses
Coordinating health & safety documentation, RAMS and incident reporting
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and compliance reporting
Working closely with operational teams to ensure consistent standards
What You Bring
Experience within Compliance, Quality Assurance or Regulatory Affairs
Knowledge of accreditation frameworks such as MCS, NAPIT or similar
Experience managing audits and compliance documentation
Strong policy and SOP writing skills
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities across different business units
Confident communicating with external auditors and internal stakeholders
