Buyer

Our client are a global leader in security scanning systems and currently experiencing high levels of growth. They are currently seeking an experienced Buyer to join them on a temporary basis with the possibility of permanent for the right person.
Duties
* Place and manage purchase orders
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
* Assist the Senior Buyer with negotiations and strategic sourcing.
* Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with ISO standards through process documentation.
* Resolve supplier invoice queries and manage demand requests.
* Ensure suppliers consistently meet cost, quality, and delivery targets
Requirements
* Sound purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
