Are you a highly organised Office Manager who enjoys keeping a busy office running smoothly, efficiently, and professionally Do you thrive in a hands-on role where no two days are the same and you’re the go-to person for solving problems and supporting the wider business Workshop Recruitment is supporting a growing business in the search for an experienced Office Manager to join their team in Whiteley. This is a varied and hands-on role responsible for the day-to-day running of the office, supporting facilities, fleet coordination, health and safety, reception overflow, and wider operational administration. The successful Office Manager will play a key role in ensuring the office environment remains safe, well-organised, and fully operational, while also supporting project teams and internal stakeholders with a range of practical and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day office operations, supplies, and equipment
Oversee service contracts, subscriptions, and supplier relationships
Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and utilities
Manage general office health and safety administration and compliance
Oversee company vehicle fleet servicing, maintenance, and records
Support reception overflow, phone enquiries, and front-of-house duties
Coordinate accommodation bookings and meeting space arrangements
Assist with company events, internal functions, and general office queries

Skills & Knowledge Required

Previous experience in an Office Manager, Facilities, or Operations role
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Confident liaising with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable balancing planned responsibilities with reactive tasks
Proactive, practical, and solutions-focused approach
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Calm, adaptable, and service-oriented attitude
