Behaviour Mentor – Didsbury

Forever Teaching is recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming and supportive specialist school in Didsbury.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD and additional learning needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes.

The Role:

* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

* Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies

* Building strong, trusting relationships with students

* Supporting emotional regulation and engagement in learning

* Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Experience working with children or young people with SEND, SEMH or behavioural needs

* A calm, resilient and proactive approach

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills

* Team Teach training (desirable but not essential)

* A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
