We're looking for an experienced Marine Technician to join a busy Fit Out team, playing a key role in the build and finishing of high-quality leisure RIBs and luxury superyacht tenders.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with marine industry experience who enjoys varied, hands-on work and takes real pride in producing a high standard of craftsmanship.
The Role
Working within the Fit Out department, you'll be responsible for installing, assembling and commissioning a wide range of marine systems and components. No two days are the same, and you'll work across multiple projects to deliver premium vessels to exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install and align outboard and inboard engines.
Install steering systems.
Fit electronics and navigation equipment.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams to complete electrical installations.
Lay teak decking.
Install bespoke and custom equipment.
Rig A, S and Prime series boats.
Rig luxury yacht tenders.
Diagnose issues and carry out first fixes.
Support multiple projects as production demands require.
Work closely with colleagues to achieve production targets.
Assist with stock control and workshop organisation.
Carry out other duties appropriate to the role. About You
You'll be someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and has an eye for detail. You take pride in delivering quality workmanship and enjoy working as part of a skilled team.
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience within the marine industry.
Experience carrying out fault finding and first fixes.
Electrical installation experience.
The ability to understand and interpret wiring diagrams.
Experience fitting marine engines, electronics or associated systems.
The ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
A strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
An understanding of stock control would be advantageous. What's on Offer
