Temporary Driver's Mate

Location: Route starts off in Lincoln
Pay Rate: £13.21 per hour
Job Length: Temporary Assignment - 14th-17th July

The expected hours are approximately Tuesday 14th July (6am-4pm), Wednesday 15th July (6am-4pm), Thursday 16th July (5am-6pm), and Friday 17th July (6am-4pm).

We are currently recruiting for a Driver's Mate to support a busy distribution operation based in Lincoln.

Working alongside a driver, you will assist with deliveries to commercial customers, helping to load and unload goods, ensure deliveries are completed accurately, and provide a high standard of customer service at delivery locations. This is a physically demanding position, so you must be comfortable with heavy lifting throughout the entire shift. You will also need to be comfortable travelling outside of Lincoln during the day as part of the delivery route.

Duties:

Assisting with deliveries on planned routes
Loading and unloading products safely
Supporting the driver with delivery paperwork
Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Maintaining a professional and customer-focused attitude

Requirements:

Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the shift
Reliable, punctual and hard-working
Able to work early starts and flexible finish times
Good communication and teamwork skills
Previous experience in deliveries and removal roles would be advantageous
