Location: HU2
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Rotating Days)
Week 1: 5:00am - 12:30pm
Week 2: 1:00pm - 8:00pmPay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable Day Shift Operative to join a busy manufacturing team within a glass cutting environment. You will be responsible for operating machinery, preparing glass products to specification, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate glass‑cutting machinery and tools
Measure, cut, and prepare glass accurately to specification
Handle materials safely and efficiently
Carry out quality checks on finished products
Work to meet production targets and deadlines
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Requirements
Previous glass cutting experience or similar manufacturing/precision cutting background
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced, physical environment
Reliable, punctual, and self‑motivated
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What's on Offer
Weekly rotating shift pattern (early & afternoon)
Stable Monday-Friday hours
