Lecturer – Animal Welfare & Management
Location: Northampton
Salary: £34,492 – £41,140 per annum
Hours: Full Time – 37 hours per week
We're recruiting for a passionate Lecturer in Animal Welfare & Management to join a thriving land-based department. This role is ideal for someone with industry experience who enjoys developing the next generation of animal care professionals.
You'll deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons across a range of Animal Welfare & Management programmes, support learners as a personal tutor, and contribute to curriculum development. The role also involves practical demonstrations, quality assurance, student recruitment activities, and helping to maintain high standards across the department.
What we're looking for:
* Degree (or equivalent) in Animal Care, Animal Science or a related subject.
* Current industry knowledge and experience within Animal Welfare or Animal Management.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A passion for supporting students to achieve their potential.
* Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
