About the Role
We are a well-established, precision manufacturing and engineering company based in Northampton. Due to ongoing growth and a packed order book, we are looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Operator to join our busy workshop team.
If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and experience working in a fast-paced precision engineering environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
*
Operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality, precision components.
*
Load materials and run pre-programmed cycles safely and efficiently
*
Inspect finished components using manual measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, calipers) against engineering drawings.
*
Deburr and finish parts to the required standard.
*
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
What We Are Looking For
*
Proven experience as a CNC Operator (experience with Milling, Turning, or both is highly valued).
*
Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
*
Confident using standard measuring instruments for quality control.
*
A reliable team player with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
*
Experience with specific control systems (e.g., Fanuc, Mazak, or Heidenhain) is a distinct advantage, though not strictly essential.
