Contract: Part time, 3 days, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

About the Role

Responsibilities
As the Year 6 teacher, plan and deliver engaging lessons that support pupil progress
Support pupils in developing key literacy, numeracy and independent learning skills
Establish clear routines and positive behaviour expectations within the classroom
Use assessment to identify next steps for learning and support pupils of all abilities
Build positive partnerships with families and collaborate effectively with colleagues
Help prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments and the move to secondary schoolRequirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 6 experience desirable but not essential)
Able to build a fair, respectful and encouraging learning environment
Committed to consistent communication and professional collaborationWhat the school offers
