SEN Teaching Assistant - Berkhamsted

Pay: £475-£520 per week (paid weekly) depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, long-term with the opportunity to go permanent

Experienced Teaching Assistants
Learning Support Assistants
Youth Workers
Residential Support Workers
Graduates with relevant voluntary or SEN experienceAbout the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD and speech, language and communication needs
Support pupils to access the curriculum, build confidence and develop independence
Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO and external professionals to implement tailored support strategies
Assist with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to pupil progress
Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
Receive ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skillsThe school is committed to providing high-quality support for every pupil and offers a welcoming environment where staff are valued and encouraged to develop professionally. This long-term role offers a competitive weekly pay rate of £475-£520, with the opportunity to start before September, subject to satisfactory onboarding checks.
