We're delighted to be partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an experienced HR Manager. This is a standalone leadership role, providing the opportunity to take ownership of all HR activities for a busy site and become a trusted business partner to the senior leadership team.
This position offers a broad generalist remit, combining strategic HR input with hands-on operational delivery. You'll play a key role in creating a positive workplace culture, supporting managers, ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and driving employee engagement across the site.
The Role
Reporting to the HR Director, you will lead all people-related activities across the site, including:
* Acting as the primary HR Business Partner to the Leadership Team.
* Managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to development and retention.
* Leading all Employee Relations activity, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance issues.
* Providing expert advice on UK employment law and HR best practice.
* Supporting organisational change, consultations, restructures and employee engagement initiatives.
* Managing recruitment campaigns, workforce planning and talent development.
* Producing HR metrics and reporting to support business decisions.
* Working closely with managers to develop capability, improve performance and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.
* Ensuring full compliance with employment legislation, GDPR and company policies.
