Recruiting for a suitably qualified Mainstream Teaching Assistant with SEN experience to support KS1 children within the classroom and offering extra support to children struggling with the school day and their learning.

This outstanding primary school is based in the Romford area excellent transport links and parking onsite.

To start September 2026, Monday – Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm, Term time only

Mainstream Teaching Assistant Role & Qualification:

* To work alongside the class teacher with all aspects of the childrens learning and to motivate them to achieve within the classroom.

* To be calm, controlled with effective communication and relate well to all students and adults within the school.

* Experience and knowledge supporting children with Autism.

* A positive, proactive, and patient individual with a can do attitude.

* Someone who can work 1-1, in a team and a group setting.

* Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEND, Care or Psychology qualification.
