The Role

As a Maths Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 during Maths lessons.
Deliver targeted one-to-one and small group intervention sessions to help students improve their mathematical understanding and confidence.
Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
Provide tailored support for students with varying learning needs, ensuring every learner can reach their potential.
Help prepare classroom resources and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

Hold a degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject (preferred).
Have previous experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.
Possess excellent mathematical knowledge and strong communication skills.
Be patient, enthusiastic and committed to helping students achieve academic success.
Have the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Be reliable, proactive and keen to contribute to the wider school community.
