Swindon

Full-Time – Monday – Friday: 8.00am – 4.45pm - 40 Hours per Week

6-Month Maternity Cover

Salary is dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant to join our client based in Swindon.

As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring customers receive the high level of service. No two days are the same.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.

* Responding to customer enquiries and resolving issues in a professional and friendly manner.

* Managing shared email inboxes across different departments.

* Answering incoming telephone calls and assisting customers with orders and product enquiries.

* Processing and dispatching product samples.

* Following up customer quotations and making outbound calls to existing and prospective customers.

* Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

* Supporting the sales, purchasing, accounts and management teams with general administration.

* Providing cover for colleagues and assisting in other areas of the business when required.

About You

* Has previous customer service experience.

* Has excellent communication skills, both over the phone and by email.

* Is organised, reliable and has strong attention to detail.

* Enjoys working in a busy small team environment.

* Is confident using Microsoft Office and happy to learn new software systems.

* Has a positive, proactive attitude and enjoys providing excellent customer service.

* 28 days annual leave(pro rata) plus bank holidays, with 3 days taken during our Christmas shutdown.
