You may have seen this opportunity advertised previously. Due to continued growth and expansion of the commercial team, our client is looking to recruit another Commercial Administrator to join this major National Highways project.
With over 12 months of work still remaining, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor on one of the UK's flagship infrastructure schemes. We've successfully placed over five people into these positions already, with several going on to secure permanent roles, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career.
Whilst you'll be supporting a commercial team, previous commercial or construction experience isn't essential. Candidates from finance, accounts, purchasing, payroll or similar backgrounds are all encouraged to apply.
The Role

Processing purchase orders, invoices and timesheets.
Maintaining commercial records, filing systems and document control.
Updating spreadsheets, cost trackers and commercial reports.
Assisting with subcontractor and supplier documentation.
Supporting the preparation of applications, valuations and other commercial documentation.
Managing incoming correspondence and distributing information to the relevant team members.
Booking meetings and providing general office support.
Liaising with site teams, suppliers and internal departments.
Ensuring all documentation is accurate and maintained in line with company procedures.
What We're Looking For
Previous administration experience in a busy office environment.
Strong numerical ability with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience within finance, accounts, purchasing, payroll or administration would be highly advantageous.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Well organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Confident communicator with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Experience with document control or commercial systems would be beneficial but is not essential.
What's On Offer
£16.50 per hour plus £2.00 per hour holiday pay (equivalent to £18.50 per hour).
42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Long-term contract with over 12 months of work remaining.
Genuine opportunity to secure a permanent position based on performance.
Join an experienced, supportive commercial team on a major infrastructure project.
How to Apply
If you're looking for a long-term administration opportunity where accuracy, organisation and attention to detail are valued, we'd love to hear from you.
