We are currently seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable dealership in Norwich, Norfolk.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to develop their career within a well-established team, benefiting from ongoing manufacturer training and long-term progression opportunities.
The role of Vehicle Technician is critical to the success of the dealership, and this vacancy offers stability, structured development, and a supportive working environment.
Benefits of a Vehicle Technician:
Basic salary of £37,000 per annum, with a realistic OTE of £44,000
Monday to Friday working week, with no Sunday shifts
One in four Saturday mornings paid at time and a half
Access to manufacturer training and continuous development programmes
Long-term career advancement within a reputable dealership
Supportive and professional working environmentDuties of a Vehicle Technician:
Conduct vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing in line with manufacturer standards
Complete work efficiently and to a high-quality standard
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately
Maintain thorough and detailed service records
Follow health and safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines
Provide excellent customer service and technical advice when requiredRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry
Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
MOT Tester certification is highly desirable but not essential
Strong diagnostic skills with solid mechanical knowledge
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
