Project Manager (Onsite) - Commercial Construction
Location: Hull
The Opportunity
Our client, a leading main contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a commercial construction project in Hull. This is a site-based role on a 12-month contract, responsible for managing the project from construction through to completion, ensuring it is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
Monitor project progress against the construction programme and manage project risks.
Review and update project schedules with the Senior Project Manager.
Manage subcontractors and coordinate site operations.
Oversee quality assurance, inspections, snagging, and defect resolution.
Liaise with the client, consultants, and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and project documentation.
Ensure project milestones and programme objectives are achieved.
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor on commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, Health & Safety legislation, and CDM Regulations.
Experience managing project programmes, subcontractors, and site teams.
Strong quality management, inspection, and snagging experience.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) and SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification are desirable.Linsco is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
