An established and highly successful manufacturer in Dorset is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join its leadership team.
Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will take full responsibility for the warehouse, stores and logistics operation, ensuring the efficient flow of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods across the manufacturing facility. You will lead all warehousing activities, driving operational excellence through effective stock control, material flow, inventory management and dispatch whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance.
Working closely with Planning, Purchasing, Production and external logistics providers, you will develop and motivate a high-performing team, drive continuous improvement initiatives and use operational KPIs to enhance efficiency, inventory accuracy and overall warehouse performance.
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar in a Manufacturing company.
Strong experience operating within an ERP-based stock control system
Demonstrable success implementing Lean logistics principles.
Experience managing inventory accuracy through cycle counting, FIFO and batch traceability
Ability to carry out risk assessments and maintain high Health & Safety standards
Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills
Current FLT Licence
Intermediate or above MS Excel skills
