Connect Appointments is recruiting a Warehouse Manager to join an established business based in East Kilbride.
Our client distributes specialist food equipment to commercial customers across the UK, requiring a hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of three busy warehouses and lead a team of seven, reporting directly to the company directors.
What's on offer?
Full-time permanent position
£45,000 per annumAs a Warehouse Manager, your duties will include:
Managing the day-to-day running of three warehouses and leading a team of seven operators
Ensuring customer orders are picked accurately, packed and delivered on time
Overseeing container deliveries, stock location and warehouse re-profiling to suit business needs
Managing stock and inventory reconciliation, supplier costs and staff training and development
Taking ownership of fleet and equipment compliance, ensuring all vans and forklifts are legal, maintained and inspectedTo be considered as a Warehouse Manager, you will need:
Proven experience managing a busy warehouse operation and leading a team
Strong knowledge of stock control, inventory systems and health and safety compliance
Experience managing fleet and equipment maintenance and compliance
Good Excel skills for producing checklists and location sheets
