Sutton Recruitment are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Brough, East Yorkshire (HU15).
This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional non-food manufacturing facility where you will play an important role in supporting production operations, maintaining quality standards and ensuring products are manufactured safely and efficiently.
With full training provided and the opportunity to secure a permanent position, this role is ideal for candidates looking for a long-term career within manufacturing.
Please note: Due to the location, your own transport is essential.
Working Hours
This role operates on a 4-week continental shift pattern:
Week 1
• Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday
• 6:00am – 6:00pm
Week 2
• Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
• 6:00am – 6:00pm
Week 3
• Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday
• 6:00pm – 6:00am
Week 4
• Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
• 6:00pm – 6:00am
Pay Rate
• £12.71 per hour
• Pay increase available following 12 weeks' service
• Weekly pay
The Role
As a Production Operative, your responsibilities will include:
• Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
• Monitoring production processes and carrying out quality checks
• Assembling, packing and preparing finished products
• Following manufacturing procedures and work instructions
• Maintaining a clean and organised production area
• Supporting machine setup and changeovers when required
• Reporting any faults or issues to the relevant team members
• Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets
• Following all health, safety and quality procedures
About You
We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals who:
• Have previous experience within manufacturing, production, warehouse or factory environments (desirable but not essential)
• Are comfortable working 12-hour shifts as part of a continental rota
• Have good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
• Can work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Can work well independently and as part of a team
• Full training will be provided for the right candidates.
