Sutton Recruitment are currently recruiting Production Manufacturing Operatives on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Brough, East Yorkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a clean, modern manufacturing facility where full training is provided. Whether you have previous production experience or are looking to start a career within manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you.
The site is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Brough Train Station, with direct rail links from Hull.
Working Hours
• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 1:30pm
• 37.5 hours per week
Pay
• £12.71 per hour
• Overtime: £19.07 per hour
• Weekly pay
Duties
• As a Production Manufacturing Operative, your responsibilities will include:
• Assembling electrical and mechanical components to specification
• Using hand tools including wire strippers, heat guns, crimpers, braid trimmers and soldering irons
• Reading and following assembly drawings and work instructions (full training provided)
• Carrying out product testing and quality inspections
• Ensuring products meet high quality standards
• Working accurately within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Following all health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
• We're looking for reliable, enthusiastic individuals who have:
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• The ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Good timekeeping and reliability
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
